Sledding

The masters of snow and the mountains arranged a fabulous day with Mother Nature to go and sled our hearts out. What a great day!!! Skye and Brennan.
The grown-ups had to take a few turns as well. Aunt Christy headed down the hill.

Mason wanted Grandma to hold him steady. Someone needs to let him know that may not be the best choice of stabilizer. :) Love ya mom! :)

Noah and Zoie

This made me laugh so hard. Uncle Ryan was holding Brennan after Skye had taken him down. At the same time we sent Mason down the hill and wanted Ryan to stop him before he headed into the trees. It was great juggling technique and Uncle Ryan succeeded in not dropping Brennan and catching Mason.

Kris, just chillin'.

Forcing Mason on to the sled so that he could go down.

Carter had the time of his life on the mountains with everyone. He loved every second and never wanted it to stop.

Skye and Wynter strapped a snowboard on Carter's feet and did surprisingly well for his first time. He really loved it and I think if he would have figured out how to stand up once he had fallen we wouldn't have been able to stop that day.

Go Carter!!

Mason LOVED going down!!

Thanks Wynter! Taylor thought going down was great, but climbing back up was not fantastic. Good thing she has fabulous older cousins who don't mind doing some extra work.
Grandma decided she had to go down the hill as well.

What?! How did Ryan get straddled with this job? What an awesome guy, go Ryan!!
Myself from really far away. The one who normally is not a big sledding fan loved today. The weather was perfect and I didn't have to be cold and wet the whole time. So it was actually fun!

Jamie and Sahara.
Once just wasn't enough and Grandma was super pleased to be out and about enjoying the snow!

Snack time proved to be another great adventure with 11 children suddenly realizing that they had burned off so much energy. I think they just kept eating until every last drop was gone.
The kids and I after the day was over.
We got back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and the kids just had fun relaxing. Taylor and Joshua sat down with this book and were 'reading' with one another. Taylor would point to a word and say, "okay Joshua say mmmmm, eeeeeeee, dinosaur." It was adorable!
Grandpa wasn't able to go with us that day as he had some prior engagements. Brennan was super excited to see him and Grandpa took Brennan on a little walk-a-bout when we got home. This was right as they came in the door. I don't think Brennan did much walking.
