Missionaries&Fun

I'm a little sad about the photo taking skills this trip. Although I have a TON of photos I didn't take a lot when we were just having fun chatting with old friends! We had a few of the missionaries over that served in our area here in England and are now living around SLC over to my parents house for dinner. I just love all these guys and loved so much that we could get together again.
We had to replay the Mt. Dew challenge--and Mike continued to be the champion.

Mason had a small obsession with watering Grandma's flowers, with or without her he was getting it done. Her habit of filling up the watering cans and leaving them full for the next day had to stop while we were there.

Cameron loved watching out the window at all the action. I think he just loved standing up and being able to see so much in front of him.

Cameron was working really hard at being on the move while we were in Utah. he say up for the first time while we were there as well. Carter set him down and walked away, to our amazement he stayed up there!

Just playing around on some mornings before started our busy fun filled days was just what the doctor ordered so that we could have some 'down time' in between the chaos!

This was as good as it got to get a little siblings shot--the sun was in the wrong place and because of previous posts you might know by now that we have some light sensitive people in our family. :)

Let the fun begin

You know that time when you have so many pictures to go through and the task just seems to daunting to even attempt? That is how I have felt about our trip to Utah this summer. Without further ado here they are(well, a small bit of them so far). Breakfast at the Galbraith home--French Toast casserole, yup it is good.
Would you like a small, medium, or large with that sir?

Wrestling with Mason and Gracie giving him hugs.

Cousins at the splash pad--if we could have got all of them we would have, but we didn't. :)

The next day was a trip to Pineview Reservoir
Kanyin eating sand, because why wouldn't you eat sand by the shovel full on a beach?
The kids were in heaven with all the water and sand around!

The shady a.k.a baby zone.
Kanyin and Cameron giving some love to each other.

Carter, Kaden, and Landon working on a sand castle.

Jace making a lovely sand angel.

Clearly great fun was had by the boys and the ramp.
Brinlee, Hollie, and Auklin. I'm pretty sure Auklin swam out to me about two dozen times, each time getting further and further out. Such a cutie.
Taylor and Chloe preferred the boat
Brennan was a lot more keen on just being in the water where he could still touch.
Landon flying down the slide/ramp.

Momma C. striking a pose on the beach.
Jeni having a go at the ramp, I believe this was the first attempt that didn't end all that great for her. ;)

When we went through all the pictures as a family on the big screen Carter finally had proof as to who it was that broke up the sand castle

.

We pulled Carter out the of the car and this was as far as he got to actually coming in on his own--we must have done something right.
