School Days Begin

Really, this might be the worst going to school picture of Mason, ever. After a rough month with seizures Mason was able to start school only a day behind everyone else. We thought he was going to be missing a lot of school at first. He had a blessing last Sunday at church and has been fine since. He is loving his new teachers and classmates. He gets to do community time in the 4th grade for his special education class and thinks that is awesome! Walking to Burger King for lunch is never half bad. They do many other things as well, but not a bad start to the week.
Carter started school on Thursday. He has been anxious about starting school, as he isn't convinced it is his favorite activity in the world. However, with a new year comes new goals and he is having a great attitude so far. He might be more excited about his little sister joining him at the school!

Taylor started today(Monday the 6th) and was thrilled to be going to the big kids school. She is in Blue Class and is in the English year called Reception. She is so excited to start reading and wants to read all of mom's books as soon as she can! :) She is going to be going 2 full days and 3 half days until January when she starts full time.

Temple Day

We went down to the temple with our friends while they were in town. The kids love when we go and stay the night down at the temple. It is fun to see them so excited about something that means so much to us.

Mike took some of these cute pictures while I was in the temple.

We have a couple who are serving a mission down at the temple, but also come up to our ward every few weeks. They have a flat at the temple inside the Manor House. The Manor House was gorgeous inside with hand carved railings and pieces of furniture.

Carved on this it said, "BY MALLET AND HAND THIS ART DOTH STAND."
