What's a girl to do when her house is finally clean and she doesn't want the children to mess it up. She has to leave the house of course. It is half term here in the UK which means that Taylor and Carter are both off for the week. It was gorgeous yesterday and we had to take advantage, so off to Framlingham Castle we went. It was great to just walk around, there weren't too many people there and the kids had a great time.

My favorite part of any castle is the front gate, I love the doors. It's a small obsession. :)

This was an attempt at a picture of the four of us. You can see that didn't work out.
The leaves are vivid colours(you can not see that in this picture that well) and the sky was sunny. I would say it was about 70 degrees. All in all the perfect day out.
Brennan loved that he had freedom while exploring at last. He was just walking around at his own pace and crawling in every space possible. He especially loved the stones on the paths.

There were buckets in place through out the castle with little Halloween trivia questions on them. Let me enquire after you about the one that stumped us and Mike's office. Yes, I used the mobile to try and cheat for the answer. "A nasty creature, also a word for something very big."

It is 7 letters. That is all I had and my mind could not get it. I do know what it is now because we asked on our way out. I will let you all have a go before giving it away. Don't make fun of me if you find it easy...I was trying to keep track of 3 children by myself.

Okay, so I must save my pennies so I can come visit & go castle exploring with you. How fun! I'm totally stumped on the question though...please share the answer in your next post!
wow! i have missed alot of great stuff since my burdens have been mounting this past summer/fall!
everything was fun, funny and entertaining as i am trying to catch up on my family blogs. i loved the pic of Brennan pointing out the birds. he looks so much like Mike at that age i cant believe it. he also sounds just like him with his fun sweet but quirky personality! brings back great memories and i feel i almost know him now! mike loved to work the crowd, he was such a show off. he was so dang cute and would get me and my mom laughing til we cried. he was also a great demolition expert! 10 min in his room after getting it all put back together and all his drawers would be empty again! all of them! speaking of me and my mom. we loved birds too!!
i loved your costumes. i was just noticing last year how much i love pirate costumes. so cool to open this up and see you and my son as pirates! cool. the rest of the gang looked so cool as well. cute little princess and prince and awesome strong super heros!!
am was pleased with mason so willing to share. good mason;)
his has quite the smile with all those spaces!
i was about to call yesterday when life's craziness interfered and also this morning. last minute help me mom requests in the middle of all the minutes racking up on the cell with lawyers and cops! so much keeps piling up i cant hardly think or at least think about anything else. i wish i could run away from it all but alas these things will give me experience right?! ok so i am trying to be faithful and not feel like i want to set the rental on fire!
give the fam hugs and kisses!
How neat that you guys get to go and see these wonderful places. What a great place to be.
I think going to a castle would be so fun during halloween. Probably because I would think it would be kind of creepy. And I can't think of the answer to save my life. I did just wake up not too long ago. ha ha
