Carter is such a fabulous worker. Infact he is very independent, great at doing chores, wants to do everything himself. Well, Saturday he learned what will happen when 220v shoot through something that only calls for 110v. It will fry the motor and break the machine. The fabulous boy had cleaned his room and called Dad for the vaccum. He told Mike he had it under control and proceeded to plug it in to an adaptor instead of a transformer. If you don't know the difference, sorry I'm not taking the time to explain. Google it. :) Let's just say a Dyson will not take more than 110v. Mike took it apart today to see if there was any hope for repair. Well, after Carter running it for 5 minutes and then "smelling something funny," Daddy running it AGAIN because he thought it was a belt. THEN realizing what was really taking place..oops. The motor was spitting out flames today and we had to say goodbye to our lovely vaccum that I loved dearly.
