Day 3 AKA--"The LONGEST day EVER!"

 We started off fairly early on day 3 with the end destination being Lake Geneva, Switzerland. We had decided last minute to drive through an air base in Germany that was about an hour away and get a gas ration card to help with petrol prices. Little did we know just how long we would be at Ramstein. We did grab lunch in the food court there, as luck would have it, there was a bit fantasy day going on. Carter was thrilled to fight against Darth Vader with a Nerf gun and Taylor thought it was fun to see Rapunzel. I don't know why we didn't take more pictures. Chubacca was my favorite, but there were also Storm Troopers, and other characters walking throughout the BX(Base Exchange).

 For some reason it took a long time to get to our campsite that day. It was dark when we arrived into Montreux and the Sat Nav took us to a wrong location for the campsite address. This wouldn't have been a problem, however it told us to go up some steep switch back roads and once committed we had to go all the way to the top because we couldn't turn around with the caravan. We were just hoping and praying that the top would offer us a place to turn our caravan pulling selves around, and luckily it did-BARELY! The sites driving from Ramstein to Montreux were very stunning. I wish that we could have stopped at everything that caught out eye, but we were already running late to check into the site. We pulled into our campsite just minutes shy of midnight. I told you it was a super long day! The owner was so kind when we got there, when we rang the front bell we weren't sure what we would get in the way of helpfulness. The whole site looked very dark and put to sleep. He got out to us and set us all up with a spot for the night before a more permanent location on a pitch the next morning. We took the time to level out the caravan before we totally and completely crashed!
